RESN is a not-for-profit which provides free, online tutoring for regional and rural students provided by a team of passionate VCE, HSC, QCE and IB graduates.
Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC)
The Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC) is the central office that administers the application processes for places in tertiary courses, scholarships and the Special Entry Access Scheme at universities, TAFEs and independent tertiary colleges in Victoria (and a few outside Victoria).

SCHOLARSHIPS & BURSARIES
BENDIGO BANK STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS
Bendigo and Adelaide Bank is committed to supporting young people through various initiatives, including our annual scholarship program. Each year scholarships are awarded to first year tertiary students studying at an Australian university or college campus for the first time.
EDUCATION DEPARTMENT STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS
Scholarships are payments to help with the cost of your child’s education.
They’re generally offered based on:
- financial need or difficulties
- your child’s school results
- school and community activities your child takes part in.
Most scholarships offered are for Victorian government school students. A small number are also open to non-government school students.

VCE MATHS REVISION PROGRAM
Each year the Mathematical Association of Victoria prepares a very successful VCE revision package for students in the three VCE Mathematics studies:
- Mathematical Methods
- Specialist Mathematics
- Further Mathematics.
The Mathematical Association of Victoria developed a self-paced, interactive, online VCE Revision Course for all 3 maths studies.
The program received incredibly positive feedback as it was jam-packed with useful information and advice, and accessible all the way until the end of the VCE exams.
MONASH UNIVERSITY VIRTUAL SCHOOL
The Monash Virtual School offers a series of free, interactive revision classes, delivered over Zoom, focused on supporting girls studying VCE Units 3 and 4; Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Psychology and Software Development, as well as Further, Methods and Specialist Mathematics.
For each subject there will be six sessions over the course of a year, each focusing on a different area of the curriculum. Students are able to register for any or all sessions for subjects they are currently undertaking.

SKYLINE HATCH PROGRAM
Skyline Hatch was launched in 2020 as a social enterprise, where the profits from delivering tutoring and academic support to Students on their VCE journey support more Students to participate in Skyline Education Foundation’s life-changing VCE program.
The impact reaches further into our community a Skyline Hatch also create a meaningful employment pathway for high achieving Students from the Skyline Alumni community.

Broadcast from a purpose – built studio on the campus of John Monash Science School, Emerging Sciences Victoria (ESV) makes it possible for Year 9 and 10 students to access specialised STEM subjects through a virtual classroom.
Enrolments available for both Semester 1 & 2. Speak with your science teacher at your school.
CSIRO STEM TOGETHER
STEM Together is a new national 5-year program delivered by CSIRO in partnership with the BHP Foundation, which aims to increase inclusion and participation of under-represented, high-potential students in STEM. The program will focus on students in Years 5 to 10, and the people and communities who support them.
STEM Together will work in collaboration with students, educators, family, carers and local industry to build interest, confidence and capability in STEM. Pathways and programs will be co-designed within communities to unlock local opportunities and build supportive networks for student STEM engagement.

REGIONAL SCIENCE EXCHANGE
Held annually, the John Monash Science School Regional Science Exchange invites Year 10 students from regional Victorian schools with a passion for science to join us for an immersive three-week block.

VCE SUMMER TUTORING
VCE Summer Tutoring is a two week intensive summer program, held each January. It’s designed to prepare VCE students entering years 11 and 12. In 2025 it was hosted by Monash University.
SANTOS SCIENCE EXPERIENCE
The Santos Science Experience is 3 or 4 days of science activities for students in Year 9 & 10. Each program is designed to provide students who have an interest in science with an opportunity to engage in a wide range of fascinating science activities under the guidance of scientists who love their work.
Note – experiences book up really quickly so don’t delay in applying!
BIG CAMP
The aim of Big Camp is to challenge the perspectives that young people hold about themselves and others. Through introducing 100 young men and 100 young women aged 16.5 – 18 years to a broad range of peers, we help dismantle social barriers through an increased understanding and acceptance of diversity. Throughout the challenging week participants’ work together to compete as a team, push their boundaries and develop friendships.
CURIOUS MINDS
Curious Minds is a hands-on extension and mentoring program to ignite girls’ passion in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. It’s a six-month program that combines two residential camps and a STEM coaching (mentoring) program. For students in Year 9 & 10.
Curious Minds is an invitational program. Students are invited based on their performance in the Australian Mathematics Competition, Computational and Algorithmic Thinking competition and the Big Science Competition.
RESIDENTIAL INDIGENOUS SCIENCE EXPERIENCE
The Residential Indigenous Science Experience (RISE) is traditionally an exciting week-long camp held at the University of Melbourne to engage Year 9 and 10 Indigenous students with science, technology, engineering, and maths (STEM) and inspire you to consider a career in STEM as an option for the future.
NATIONAL MATHEMATICS SUMMER SCHOOL
The National Mathematics Summer School (NMSS) is a two-week residential mathematics school that takes place every year in January at the Australian National University. It has been enriching and broadening the mathematical minds of young Australians since 1969. It is the oldest and most prestigious summer school in Australia.
The NMSS is a great place for students who are going into Year 12 and who have a passion for mathematics. They can advance their skills with leading mathematicians. There is also an exciting program of social activities that provides participants the chance to get to know each other and develop life-long friendships. For any student with a talent for mathematics, the NMSS is not to be missed.
